 It’s even more beautiful in person than in the photos! ! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how beautiful and well-designed the home is — a perfect mix of modern architecture and cozy comfort. Every room was spotless, bright, and had great air conditioning (which was a lifesaver after a day in the sun!). 

 The outdoor spaces were our favorite part — the pool was gorgeous and surrounded by lush greenery, and the outdoor kitchen made it easy to relax and enjoy meals together. The on-site staff were wonderful — friendly, helpful, and made the most delicious breakfasts & snacks.

 Casa Van Grootheest is the kind of place you don’t want to leave. We’ll definitely be back! 

Casa VG was an absolute dream! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The space is beautifully decorated with calming, neutral tones and thoughtful touches everywhere you look. It’s spotless, cozy, and designed for total relaxation.

We loved starting our mornings with coffee by the pool — it truly feels like your own little piece of paradise. The hosts went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, and their care and attention made such a difference.

We’ve stayed in a lot of Airbnbs, but Casa VG stands out as one of our favourites. We can’t wait to come back!

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described. The location was perfect — close to great restaurants, shops, and the beach, yet still peaceful and private. 

The outdoor space was such a relaxing spot to enjoy coffee in the morning or a drink in the evening. We felt completely at home and can’t wait to come back.

Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Mexico — it truly made our trip unforgettable! 

 This jungle house is absolutely stunning. The design and décor are beautiful, and every detail has been thoughtfully curated to make your stay both comfortable and deeply relaxing. Between the pool, outdoor kitchen, rooftop terrace, and lush grounds, there’s no shortage of spectacular spaces—whether you’re looking for a quiet corner to unwind or a big table for everyone to gather around. They truly thought of everything.

Just minutes from town and a short jaunt to the beach, yet it feels like a luxurious jungle paradise miles away from crowds and noise. Peaceful, private, and perfectly balanced—it’s simply flawless.

And the onsite hosts, Jesse & Kandy, are exceptional. Warm, caring, and incredibly helpful, they’re always there with local recommendations, help planning adventures, or preparing a spectacular meal or poolside snack. Their hospitality takes this place from absolutely amazing to unforgettable.

Absolute perfection.

  The magnificent house is straight out of the pages of Architectural Digest, absolutely stunning!! It is located on a large, secluded lot surrounded by jungle-like vegetation. Very quiet and private. There are three very large tables, around two of which we could fit all thirteen of us. Everyone had private spaces with six large bedrooms each with kingsized beds and a library room with a bunkbed with three twin beds. There was a huge tv screen and perfect reception for every one of the important football games over the holidays games. Large comfy furniture where many of us could sprawl to watch the games. The onsite host, Jessie, speaks flawless English and is very knowledgeable of local customs and points of interest. The charming beach town of Puerto Morelos is about a fifteen minute drive away. Beautiful white sandy beach, good restaurants, shopping and small hotels. In a word, it was perfect!

   Casa Van Grootheest was the perfect setting for our unforgettable week-long family vacation. The property easily accommodated all ten of us—our family of eight plus our aunt and uncle—with plenty of room for everyone. The villa itself is stunning, featuring beautiful combinations of wood and stone. The accommodations were spotless, bright, and airy, ensuring everyone slept wonderfully. The photos truly do not capture the beauty of the home; it manages to be both breathtakingly beautiful and incredibly cozy. For those who enjoy cooking, the kitchen is exceptionally well-stocked. The expansive outdoor area was a major highlight and saw constant use. We enjoyed comfortable, shared meals at the large outdoor table. The kids were never bored: they loved everything from sunbathing on the rooftop and relaxing in the hammocks, playing games, to swimming and playing by the fantastic pool. A particular favorite was utilizing the outdoor kitchen to barbecue the fish they caught. The older kids loved, and made constant use of the provided scooters to visit the beach, go shopping, and explore. The location is ideal: private and tranquil, yet only a few minutes from town and less than a 10-minute trip to the beach. Our favorite nightly tradition became visiting the town square after dinner. Our kids (ages 11-24) would play basketball and sometimes join in on pickup basketball with locals and we'd treat ourselves to amazing churros from one of the many food trucks. We even got to enjoy a New Year's Eve fireworks display right on the beach. The hosts were great , shout out to Jesse and Candy . This was a holiday we will never forget . Casa Van Grootheest, thank you—we are already planning our return!
