From the moment we arrived at this Puerto Morelos rental, we were blown away by how stunning and well-designed the home is — a perfect mix of modern architecture and cozy comfort. Every room was spotless, bright, and had great air conditioning (which was a lifesaver after a day in the sun!). The outdoor spaces were our favorite part — the pool was gorgeous and surrounded by lush greenery, and the outdoor kitchen made it easy to relax and enjoy meals together. The on-site staff were wonderful — friendly, helpful, and made the most delicious breakfasts & snacks. This vacation rental truly is the kind of place you don’t want to leave. We’ll definitely be back!

The magnificent Casa Van Grootheest is straight out of the pages of Architectural Digest—absolutely stunning! This Puerto Morelos rental is nestled on a large, secluded lot surrounded by jungle-like vegetation, ensuring a very quiet and private getaway. Inside, there are three massive tables where we could comfortably fit all thirteen of us. Each of the six large bedrooms features king-sized beds, and there’s also a cozy library room with a bunk bed containing three twin beds. We enjoyed watching the important football games over the holidays on the huge TV screen, which had perfect reception, and we could all sprawl out on the large, comfy furniture during the games. The onsite host, Jessie, speaks flawless English and is knowledgeable about local customs and points of interest. The charming beach town of Puerto Morelos is only a fifteen-minute drive away, offering a beautiful white sandy beach, great restaurants, shopping, and small hotels. In a word, it was perfect! This vacation rental truly exceeded our expectations.

This Puerto Morelos rental easily accommodated all ten of us—our family of eight plus our aunt and uncle—with ample space for everyone. The photos truly do not capture the beauty of this home; it manages to be both breathtakingly beautiful and incredibly cozy. For those who enjoy cooking, the kitchen in this vacation rental is exceptionally well-stocked. The expansive outdoor area was a major highlight, seeing constant use as we enjoyed comfortable, shared meals at the large outdoor table. The kids were never bored; they loved everything from sunbathing on the rooftop and relaxing in the hammocks to swimming and playing by the fantastic pool. A particular favorite was utilizing the outdoor kitchen to barbecue the fish they caught. The older kids loved, and made constant use of the provided scooters to visit the beach, go shopping, and explore. The location of Casa Van Grootheest is ideal: private and tranquil, yet only a few minutes from town and less than a 10-minute trip to the beach. Our favorite nightly tradition became visiting the town square after dinner. Our kids (ages 11-24) would play basketball and sometimes join in on pickup games with locals, and we'd treat ourselves to amazing churros from one of the many food trucks. We even enjoyed a New Year's Eve fireworks display right on the beach. The hosts were great—shout out to Jesse and Candy. This was a holiday we will never forget.
